7. Processing & Delivery
Standard processing times and shipping options are described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Times start from receipt of a complete and valid file. Delays caused by incomplete documents, customs or third-party carriers are excluded from our processing commitments.
8. Customer Obligations
- Carry your original national driver's license together with the Document at all times when driving abroad.
- Verify the local driving regulations of each destination country before travel.
- Use the Document only for lawful private or professional driving.
- Comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.
9. Refusal & Cancellation
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or cancel any Order that appears fraudulent, unlawful, contrary to public policy or that we are unable to process for technical reasons. Refunds will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
All content of the website (texts, graphics, software, design, databases) is the exclusive property of PermitGo Worldwide and its partner, or is used under licence. You receive a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Document for your personal travel purposes. See our Intellectual Property & DMCA Policy.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the total amount actually paid by the Customer for the Order concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for the refusal of any authority, rental company or third party to accept the Document.
12. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by an event of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, including but not limited to natural disasters, wars, pandemics, strikes, postal disruptions or government decisions.
13. Termination
These Terms remain in force for the duration of the Service. We may terminate the relationship immediately if you breach a material provision. Sections that by their nature should survive (liability, intellectual property, governing law) shall continue to apply.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. Before bringing any legal action, the parties shall attempt an amicable resolution. EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Failing amicable resolution, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Briey, France, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the consumer's country of residence in the EU.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version applicable to your Order is the one in force on the date of the Order. Material changes will be announced on the website.
